The Telecom Industry Association Denmark (TI)
Opdateret: 03.07.2026
The Telecom Industry Association Denmark (TI) is a Danish industry organization representing most of the Danish private entities related to and within the Danish telco sector. TI members range from MNOs, MVNOs, fibre, cable and copper operators, towercos to internet and TV-service providers.
TI both represents the telecommunications industry and drives concrete collaboration between companies across interests and technologies. We prefer voluntary action and self-regulation as our starting point. TI therefore advocates for and facilitates the development of industry agreements instead of legislation and contributes to fostering collaboration on members' business practices in the field.
TI engages in solution-oriented collaboration with authorities, consumers, and media on behalf of its members. The political goal is cohesive regulation that ensures well-functioning competition between companies, strong incentives to invest in both broadband and mobile networks, and attractive conditions for both customers and businesses in the market.
TI works with authorities and policymakers to remove barriers and costs, enabling investments to go as far as possible.
The foundation of TI’s activities is the active and committed participation of member companies in shaping TI’s contributions to the political and regulatory agenda, ensuring TI reflects all relevant aspects of the telecommunications sector’s interests.
It is essential that TI maintains a clear profile. TI is a sharp, constructive, and dialogue-oriented organization that, in a factual, credible, and efficient manner, advances the association’s vision.
